About LEED

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system is the most popular environmentally-oriented third-party rating systems in the United States.

The Advanced Buildings project found that in most high performance buildings:

Energy costs are 20 to 30% lower, resulting in an increase in Net Operating Income (NOI) of between 4-6% each year

Employee efficiency goes up: A 1% gain in workforce productivity is greater than the annual energy cost of most buildings
